About Us

Why Sustain 2050?

We help organisations make confident decisions in an increasingly complex world.

Our work sits at the intersection of risk, regulation, and practical application of technology. For large, regulated institutions, that means helping leadership teams understand, quantify, and respond to material risks — from climate and financial risk to operational resilience and governance. For mid-sized businesses, it means identifying where AI and automation can genuinely improve performance, then applying those tools in ways that are practical, scalable, and commercially grounded.

We are not theorists, and we are not vendors. We work alongside executive teams to clarify priorities, design fit-for-purpose solutions, and help turn strategy into execution. Whether we’re supporting a Chief Risk Officer navigating regulatory expectations or a CEO looking to unlock value from data and automation, our focus is the same: clear thinking, disciplined execution, and outcomes that stand up in the real world.

Our team brings experience from banking, consulting, technology, and industry. That perspective allows us to bridge the gap between board-level expectations and day-to-day operations — translating complexity into action, and ambition into results.

Our Purpose & Values

At Sustain 2050, our purpose is built into our name: we exist to ensure that the global transition to a resilient, net-zero world by 2050 is a strategic success for every business we partner with. We believe sustainability shouldn’t be a "box-ticking" exercise; it is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build more purposeful, profitable organisations. Our core values reflect this: we lead with Science-Led Rigor to ensure every data point is defensible, Strategic Optimism to transform regulatory burdens like AASB S2 into competitive advantages, and Radical Collaboration—because solving "big, hairy" climate goals requires working as a true extension of your team.

Our Impact & Ethics

We believe in "walking the talk." Sustain 2050 is committed to an ethical, low-footprint business model; we operate as a carbon-neutral consultancy and dedicate 5% of our annual consulting hours to pro-bono climate literacy for community non-profits. While we are currently in the process of aligning our internal governance with B Corp standards, we already operate with the transparency and accountability that the movement demands. We don’t just advise on sustainability; we mean it, we live it.
